The mission of the Northfield Union of Youth To provide POWER and VOICE
to area youth and create a caring community.

The Northfield Union of Youth (NUY) is a Nonprofit youth-run youth center.
For youth and by youth. All ideas for programs, projects and
events are all generated by the youth.

Our Organization

The NUY consists of two boards, the Youth Board (Advisory Board) and the Adult Board (Board of Directors). The Youth board meets every Wednesday at 3:45 at The Key to plan programs, events, and general operations of the youth center. Anyone from the public is welcome to join us. Youth are encouraged to come and participate.
The Adult Board meets monthly to listen and help guide the youth if needed, as well as offer advice about any major purchases or spending.

Membership is free for youth 12-20 years old. As a member of the NUY you are able to get one dollar off tickets to most Union events, a subscription to the SCREAM ( Northfield’s youth zine-if it is operational) and are able to elect and/or run for one of the Advisory Board positions.
Adults can become supporting members of the NUY.
